Okay, so a the latest Glee ep (“Mattress”) got me a bit teary-eyed—especially that last scene with the “Smile” cover playing during their yearbook pictorial. Tugs at my heartstrings.

Smile though your heart is aching 
Smile even though it’s breaking 
When there are clouds in the sky, you’ll get by 
If you smile through your fear and sorrow 
Smile and maybe tomorrow 
You’ll see the sun come shining through for you 

Light up your face with gladness 
Hide every trace of sadness

Smile, what’s the use of crying? 
You’ll find that life is still worthwhile
